Lionel Bishop - Performer
Lionel played Terry in our productions: Working It Out! and Secs, Lies and Hazard Tape. He is a local performer in Brentwood and we met him as Nick in Elegies – for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens (Brentwood Theatre Co at the Fortune Theatre). His other roles include: Jonathan Harker in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Thomas Armstrong in An Experiment With An Air Pump, Duke of Cumberland in Warrior all for Brentwood Theatre. Laura Gillions - Songwriter - Visit Laura's website
Laura is a rising new versatile performer/musician/writer. She is used to writing her own material and provided songs for our production: ‘Secs, Lies and Hazard Tape’. Laura Gillions trained at Hertfordshire Theatre School and the New York Film Academy in New York. Since graduating she has appeared in a number of stage productions, including her own one-woman comedy show "What I Am". She also appears (extremely briefly!) in Kenneth Branagh's film "The Magic Flute".

At 18, Laura wrote her first musical, "The Habit that Kicks You" (an anti-drugs production aimed at teenagers) with friend Emil Dale. She is the resident pianist at the Market Theatre, Hitchin and is a regular singing teacher with Stagecoach. She is also Musical Director of the Purple Monkeys Theatre Company, for whom she composes educational songs.

She is thrilled to be part of Girl Friday's first major production, and delighted to be back working with Roz and Emma (with whom she made her West End debut in "Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens"!).
